Solar Pool Heater

Picture
Even though we get pretty good weather out here it sometimes isn’t enough to keep your pool at just the right temperature to have a nice swim on any given day. Having water heating equipment for your pool that still uses gas or electricity to heat your pool could cost you quite a bit. Even if you are just using it a couple of times a month or a year! The cost of maintenance and usage for this type of equipment is considerably lower when you have a solar powered option. If you want to explore these options we are certainly the people that you are going to want to talk to.

What Do I Need To Have Installed

Large solar panels that you can find in fields and in roofs at times have become sort of the trademark look of solar energy. That does not mean they are the only way to harvest solar energy. We point this out because some people are worried that the solar-powered heater is going to be overly bulky and taking up too much space. That does necessarily have to be the case. Actually, if you already have solar panels installed we can use them as a way harvest energy for the heater as well. So the installation does not necessarily have to be a big deal if you will!

It Pays For Itself

It is no secret that the initial cost of installation for these heaters and virtually all solar powered products is going to be a little steeper than installing another type of heater. What we always encourage our clients to do though is to run the numbers long term. With the amount of money that you are going to save in the actual use of these heaters, you are going to have saved the total cost of the heater in a two-year span.

Quality & Size Matter

Not all solar panels are exactly the same. As we all as not all heaters happen to be equal in quality and overall production. There are some lower cost solar pool heaters out there. We just don’t recommend them at all. Especially if we are talking about having to heat up a larger pool. You have to keep in mind that the capacity of the heater has to be aligned with the size of the pool. Also, if you want things to heat up fairly quickly you are probably going to want to choose a high powered heater over a lesser option.

We Handle Maintenance

One of the main benefits that all of our products share is the fact that they are very low maintenance. That is one of the reasons why we can say the heater pays for itself in a couple of years because you can basically bring maintenance fees down to zero. If anything were to happen to the system though, all you would need to do is pick the phone and give us a call we can help!
